At The Cliff's Edge Art Print

The sky is clear. The ocean waves are somewhat turbulent yet the water is brilliantly turquoise. The white dress of the woman in this art print flows with the wind and the wild flowers. She isn’t going to jump off the cliff. But she is contemplating on doing something much scarier. She is ready to leap with faith.

The scene reminds me of a quote from my book Poignant Landscapes. It says,

“What if we are afraid of heights and are hesitating at the cliff’s edge? Well, the spiritual advice is to jump anyway since there is no point in reaching for rational explanations to decipher life’s mysteries so that we can validate our own desperate desires to leap into the unknown. The soft landing into heaven on earth cannot be seen beforehand, but its invisible call is its proof of existence.”
